Week 2- Brain Storming
Imagine a group of friends in a bar, nobody is talking with each other, no one is communicating because everybody is busy with the text message they got or just facebooking, the phone takes most of our attention even unconsciously.
The goal:
We disconnect from our daily life and phones for couple of hours and finally can communicate again with our friends and family.
The location:
The device is portable so it can be brought to family meetings friends gathering or even to a concept bar which can help us meet new people and experiences.
About the device:
We want to concentrate all the mobiles in a device which can connect with it charge it and mainly retain people's attention to each other. The device itself is sealed so people can't reach the phones and see whenever they get text messages, each time a message is received the device tracks it and:
1. Count down for a group photo
2. Announce on a drinking game
3. Starts a competition when each text lower the points.
4. Plays music randomly where each phone is a unit and the playlist is global.
5. Chose the talk topic for you (also available to insert topics in advance).
6. Tags photos and people by location throughout the social media.
7. Throws a challenge (what are the odds) you have to complete.
Few other ideas which came up
A bowl of games, a device which offers social games like karaoke trivia know the famous etc.
How does it works: you leave it at the center of the table, everybody puts their cellphones inside and touch the screen to pick a game, after that the phones transfer to sleep mode and the people communicates together
Soon its dinner, the parents are cooking and the kids are upstairs gaming on the computer, it can be different.
How does it works: A device which contains a list of recipes with a diverse difficult level, all family members are in the kitchen while the device divide the instructions to each member and that way the cooking is more fun and intimate.

Another day at university but the battery is about to die.
How does it works: A smart charger with 4 – 5 spots everyone connects their phones to charge it, but the device charges only if everyone is touching the phones, it can connect people by staying together around the device or another option is power by sound waves, when everybody talks the device collects it and turns on.
